Whats the difference between

a fish being restricted from florida, and prohibited ( spelling) .

I would imagine.. restricted = need special permission and prohibited = no way no how can you have one..

How hard would it be to get a permit? i know a couple guys who have gotten them for some fish but never asked how hard it was.

As stated above restricted means you need a permit to posess
prohibited pretty means banned, outlawed, verboten, and no way to legaly own or posess

You would have to probably in this case be anywhere from a research institution/zoo/educational facility to maybe just needing paperwork. Zoodiver knows alot about cites/restricted fish/etc so maybe send him a pm for some help and clarifying.

Restricted is when she tells you that you are not getting it for a loonnnnng time. Prohibited is when she tells you that you will never get it again.
