ok i have a 6 in pacu he had ick all his fins rotted off some are still growing back. he is in a healing tank for now but when i walk up to the tank he feaks out ramming into walls and he swims sideways and upside down till he is calm again its annoying cause he is either gunna kill himself or break the tank what should i do

Hmmm..Where is the tank located? What lighting system do you have? What decorations do you use? If your tank is situated in heavy traffic area, then the pacu is obviously frightened. I'd add plenty of cover for him (preferably plastic plants) and keep the lighting subdued. Keep your movements as minimal as possible.

What are your water parameters? Please post the exact water parameters and test kit used. How big is the tank he is in? What do you feed him?

well i already moved him back to the other tank. hopefully his tank mates wont bother him. the reason i moved him out in the first place was cause of an ich outbreak. his fins were getting eaten off by all his tank mates he should be fine now im guessing he seems happy and no one is picking on him

Lupin the 3rd is correct, more info is really needed. Tank size is my first guess.. second would be he has internal issues (parasite fungus..etc). How did you treat for the ich? Please be specific.. ie how often, how long, what medicine. FYI Salt is the best for dealing with ich. Kosher, rock, softner, pond.. not table. 2 lbs per 100 gallons, being sure to only replace what you take out during water changes.

well he was in a 20 gallon hes about 5 in i treated the ick wit 82 degree water aquarium salt and "Kordon" rid-ich treatment idk on internal parasites how can i tell

Neither is Rich-Ich plus salt plus heat. Use heat & salt (preferably) or meds in the future, not all 3. Or better yet-quarantine :-)

As opposed to the 30 gallon show tank?
