Retic. breeding

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I know that they have been bred at 7,5 inches.. but they have to be in topcondition...

normally 2 to 3 years for a ray to breed... i'm not sure about the retics, but that's how long most of the rays take, so it should be simillar ;)

Well I have a male retic at about 8 inches (the disk) and a female around 6. Will there be any problems because my female is smaller than my male? Also I have a 135 gallon tank will they be able to/want to breed in that? Right now they look very comftorable and can easily move around? Does any one now how big a adult retic grows to?

Make some pics of the claspers.. If they are big and rolled open, your male is mature and ready to breed...

Female is to small
