All I seem to come up with is that they will stay small enough for a 300. But what is the average growth rate of retics? I ask because my male is growing and fattening up well but my female seems to be exploding in her growth rate. I know water quality, feeding, and. Other factors will depend on growth rates but what would you say is the average disk growth the first year, and how long until they reach their relative max size?

I bought a 3.5 inch retic in august. Today its 6 inches. Id expect him to grow to 8 inches by aug, so about 4.5 inches is what I'm estimating for the year.

My female grew from 4 inches to 15 inches in 5 years.......male 4 inches to 10 inches in the same time frame.
