I've had my male Retic for over a year and a half. I had him housed in with two motoro's, and he grew to around 8" in his disc. I just transferred the motoros as they were getting too big for my 200 gallon tank. I'm looking to add a Retic or two to keep mine company. I found someone on kijiji who has relics that are 2-3 years old, but they are only 4-5 inches big. They are in a 230 gallon tank. Would my retic have grown faster to keep up with the motoros?
If my retic has unrolled claspers, and the female is so small will that be a good idea to put them together? Anyone else with relics have any idea how much they are supposed to grow in a year or two?

Thanks. It sounds a bit crazy to me, unless they are massively underfeeding the rays/the rays just won't eat much.
I've never heard of rays not growing for that long.
