Retic tail broke

I have a question... I have a 6-7 inch retic disc size. Her tail is close to 10 inches long but her tip is broke about a inch. It's white and hanging on. Is it normal? Otherwise healthy.

Someone bit it or it got stuck on something. You need to keep your water good as its an open wound but it happens to many rays especially around breeding time and what. If your water is kept good and it is healthy it will heal up just fine. Won't grow back fully but will heal.

they usually heal fine. from what i remember retics have long tails anyhow but most in captivity are shorter because of things like this.

im 100% confident it will heal provided your water is fine as i had a newborn pup have its tail bitten and recover and i still have her. shes affectionately known as stumpy ;-)
