Retic/teacup stingray at Pets Palace, Louisville Ky

Pets Palace got a retic ray in today. It's tiny, barely 4", if that. They want $100 for it. Would really prefer someone on here got it over the average fish store shopper... I would get it, but can't afford to right now.

100 is too much for a retic...my lfs has them for 38. with 100, you can get yourself a hystrix at aquascape!

There's a vendor on aquabid that sells them for $50 per PAIR (m/f)

I know that. I wasn't shouting out a great deal or anything, just trying to make sure it didn't end up in some kids 10g tank cuz he pestered his dad into getting it for him.... Which I have witnessed happen before. I would have bought it but I can get 2-3 for the same price from another store in town.

Just trying to help a ray find a better home.

Pets Palace needs to get their head out of their you know what. They pay $20-25 wholesale at Kentuckiana Pets for that fish, no need for a 4-5x mark up!!!

I know. I told them they're the most expensive place in the country, but they don't seem to care. People who don't know $hit buy the rays, and then they end up dying in their "giant" 30 or 55g tanks... Then they wonder why. Or they buy another one thinking it'll do better.

That's why I wish someone who knew what they were doing would buy it. I just hate to think it's gonna waste away with someone trying to feed it flake food in a tiny tank....
