retic with motoros

i got 3 6" motoros and i was thinking of getting a retic is this wize my motoros are such aggressive eaters and i no retics can be picky. is the retic gonna eat with the motoros or will they take it food

thanks i wanted another ray but didn't want to pay to much so thats why i thought of a retic

I reckon it will be out competed. Its not a mix ive done though.

Ive seen it done before. The motoro is a male a solid 18" or so and the retics are only about 8". They have been together for the last two years that I know of. I have personally fed these fish on several different occasions and the retics are right up there with the motoro. Of course this was like a 12'x4' pond!

it can work... but most of the time the motoro's will out compete the retics...

Didn't work for me but they were the more picky 'red morph' retics.

miles has marbled x mantilla hybrids with retics... i dont know if there are any problems on his end though...

The hybrids are small and my 5 established retics steal all the food.. they hybrids stay buried until blackworms hit the water

It will change in a few months.. retics will be scurd. They are like the Discus of the ray world..
