I was wondering if anyone has ever bred these amazing creatures in captivity. I read on a website that it is not unheard of, but no cases have been documented. I have two reticulata's (male & female) and I was wondering if under the right conditions they might breed...
Thanks!

I don't know exactly what you mean by get on. Will the breed with each other I don't think so. Or can they go together in the same tank. That would be a yes, I am planning on doing that my self soon. Also I have heard of people breeding retics before. Hope I answered what you wanted to know.

Yes they can breed in captivity.

Send a PM to RAYKEPR. She and her husband have a breeding trio of retics (magdalenae).

They will also hybridize with other rays. Retic x Motoro; Leo x Motoro; Leo x Pearl; Motoro x Histrix; etc.
