Hello,

I'm hoping someone can help me identify the pictured spot on my ray. We've had her for over 5 years now, in the same tank. She's always been relatively healthy (except a "fish lice" incident 2 days into ownership...), active (she never buries), and is always eating.

She isn't acting any different, and I'm curious if this is just a mark from the driftwood we have in the tank. She usually avoids it, and it's fairly smooth with only a few rough spots. She's never had a mark like this before.

We did move her with the aquarium into my (experienced) friend's home for 8 months before we moved so that we had some time to move her back later on. We moved her back into our new home last weekend. All water was kept and moved too. This appeared mid-week (according to my partner, I was traveling).

Any ideas? Little bugger wouldn't stop moving for me to get a better picture...It's mostly white, with a bit of red. There aren't many other fish in the tank (2 Bristlenose Plecos, a YoYo loach and 3 tetras). Her BFF, a dwarf frog, died a week ago, but he didn't have any spots on him. None of the fish have bothered her in the past and they've all been around for 5 years.
