So i have two of these guys in my 90g and love them so far. Anyone else here keeping them? What is your experiences? Once I get my CO2 up and running again I plan on picking up a couple more to have a group. Would six total be a good number? You guys feeding them anything special?

I have 5 of them waiting to go into my high current river tank. they like fast clean water that is well oxygenated. they are mainly going to eat algae, and lots of it! you can supplement with algae wafers and flake foods but they are mainly going to eat algae and the little microscopic critters that live in the algae. six would be a great number. I notice that they are more active when there is more of them. they will play "king of the hill" for the best algae feeding spots. they are fairly sensitive so make sure your water stays extremely clean, well oxygenated, temp around 65-75 degrees (they like it a little cooler) and maybe have a couple powerheads to create some fast water current as they come from fast moving mountain streams.

Any pics? those guys remind me of mini sting rays. I don't know of anyone here that keeps them, But there is a Guy on AC our sister site that has done pretty well with them. they even breed for him.

I only got two in my 120 but I do want to get more. Ive had them some time now but I have my temp around 85 and they chill. They keep to themselves though and just cruise. Mine will eat food I drop in for everyone else but they stick to the glass and drift wood mainly

Hey sean we have a couple in at pet station right now. Along with some other neat stuff, Burmese banded algae eaters, Chinese butterfly loaches, sumo, horse face, skunk, zebra, tiger come check it out

Had one ofr monthes.. he keeps our 37 spotless.. for such lil' fish they sure do an awesome job with algae.. he's also pretty fiesty... he will chase the other fish away from the ball of live blackwomrs when i add them sometimes. such a character.. ive been buggin my lfs to get mor ein for ahwile... love them!

Ya I liked mine they like well filtered water and well oxygenated water with good flow
