I have a Reticulated stingray and i have him in a 60 gallon (48"X12.75"X26) from what I have read this is probly going to be a problem with size he is about 4" wide and head to tail is about 8" how long until he grows out of my tank or what size should i start looking for another tank if so what size do you guys recomend i also want a motoro. If any one want to get rid of a 100+ gal. tank for free or >$100. I'll look into buying.

They grow pretty fast if fed well..

Be careful of Ammonia spikes in a small tank, make sure you have plenty of filtration.

An MFK member has a female reticulata at 30" total length w/ tail, so plan on a 200g+ tank if possible.. Keep an eye on Craigslist.

atleast a 180 start saving some money cause any other tank will be obsolete real quick

i have a retic at about 17" long with tail, and have had her for over a year. She was bought smaller then the one you describe. Mine is in a 120Wide. I am trying to sell her, to a person who can take care of her better now.

SO like the others have said, save up a good amount of money and get a 200+G tank, or sell the ray.
