Im going to be updating my WC retroculus xinguensis i got today from Jeff Rapps. Right now its in a 75 gallon until it gets bigger and then i will put it in my 120. Its about 3 inches now. And i have a feeling this species is going to be a slow grower so anyone that has info on the growth please share.View attachment 877790

I kept the video short because i didnt want to scare him with the camera. im in love with this fish already, its really cool how he sits on his pelvic fins and scoots around the tank. [YT]oT1xnFqMbgw&list[/YT]
 
I put some brine shrimp in the tank and he took some in and then spit it out so he should be eating real soon. I wasnt really expecting to eat so soon anyways

Looking good! How many do you have? Check out my thread, im trying to be consistent in taking pix to see how they progress.

Thanks, your group looks good aswell. i only got one for now because of costs but i might add more. you said in your thread you got them from a guy that got them from Jeff Rapps correct because thats were i got mine aswell. also do you know the growth rate on these guys because i feel like they grow slow but im not sure.
 
Yeah from what i hear from members is they grow quite slow but its all part of the hobby; watching these guys grow from a small juvenile to an adult.
