Hi all, I've got a Polypterus retropinnis with something fin-rot like on the tail for about a month now. I was hoping someone could help with ID and treatment recommendation. I tried treating the tank with Seachem ParaGuard for 2 weeks with no result. Behavior is pretty normal and is eating well. No other fish in the tank have similar symptoms.

(Yes that is probably a spot from diplopstomiasis).

Thank you!

Might be getting nipped on. To be safe and sure. I’d suggest separating. Clean water and make sure it’s eating. Clean water. Should eventually heal up.
