We recently upgraded to a Fluval Profile and so we have been adding our polys as well as a few new guys.

Does anyone know what these white things are on his head? They seem to be scars almost, they are not floating or moving like worms.

This is pretty much all our dog does now.

My Endlicheri Pubert is my favorite! He's about 4" right now and eating like a beast. He was my Valentine's Day surprise ha! He will probably get to join the rest of the crew in the next few days.

welcome to mfk,u have a nice collection there nice rope fish how big are they?

nice sized

how do u know that one is female and male?? whats the difference???

I think male pelvic fin is different shaped. The stickies up top will tell you. Careful with the endli on gravel. I have heard they can eat gravel on accident and cause bloat. Great looking fish though!

thank you! yeah, i don't really like him on the gravel, i think he will get moved this weekend. he should be big enough to avoid becoming a snack.

Our retro is very pretty, a lot more of his green has come out since he has settled in. He seems to be a lot less active and less interested in food than our other bichirs though.

Here are a few new pics!

We left a couple of patches of grasses floating, and the bichirs love it! There is usually a baby senegal or the retropinnis planking up in the "floating island".

Our ropes are super active! I love watching them.

We moved Pubert Endlicheri to this tank over the weekend, and he is doing great!

He loves tilapia and sinking carnivore pellets, as evidenced by his lumpiness.
