Any ideas on how to keep my returns from blowing the sand back from the front of the tank? I've adjusted them many times and it's better but still after a few days you can see the sand creeping back. I also made spray bars but would really like to avoid adding them again because I feel like it restricted the flow. Don't know if anybody has come across any tricks in stopping this. The returns are 2" on each end of the 12' tank and they're powered by a Reeflo super dart with head height I figure a tick over 3000 gph.

get heavier sand.
that looks like the quickcrete fine, even splitting the flow it'll still move around. I could never get it to stop, just slowed it down some.
MTS might help keep it spread out.

I figured it may be that. It's play sand and is pretty well screened. I should probably know but what's MTS? I really like the light color and didn't want to mix in darker filter sand if possible. Any one know a lighter, heavier sand?

It was several years ago at a pool supply store in marysville. I'm sure you can find it locally
