Out Back In The Woods!
Bought some pvc pipe to do the return from the wet/dry sump back to the tank.. my ? is everyone glueing the fittings together if so what type of glue or just putting the pipe toghter without glue due to not a serious force of pressure or what... always used the flex pipe until this build.

I glue with normal PVC glue and use threaded parts and unions. I usually use a union close to the pump effluent outflow to facilitate easy removal for maintenance, or in the middle of long runs. Friction fitting can work, over the top of tank or sump, but taking a chance over a floor can be a gamble.

Just in case you are not familiar, a union is just below the word "taking".

use pvc glue. vibrations from the pump may eventually cause your joints to come apart. also i would use a short piece of flexible pipe or rubber hose off the pump then cnnect that to your hard line. if you plumb it with hard pipe the entire way any vibration from the pump will transfer thrugh the plumbing and humm or vibrate making an annoying noise
