Return Positions???

Got a quick question. Im gonna put a return line from one of my sump pumps 2/3 the way up the tank. The other i thought about putting towards the bottom. Will the water pressure effect its pumping ability? Will it flow more towards the top compared to bottom?

My bulk head should show up on my door step tomorrow so hopefully someone may have a answer.

Let's just say that you drill your tank at the bottom. And then the power goes out. And the entire contents drains into your sump.


Then what?

yes top is better than bottom



i wouldn't put it at the bottom unless i had SEVERAL check valves installed (incase one would fail)
