I'm going to be purchasing a 180 gallon tank that is predrilled with 2 overflows an it comes with a 75 gallon sump its a fresh water set-up with 2 oscars a jack demp. An i don't know what else yet but i need to know what kind of return pump to buy forthis thing not really familair with sumps an this kind of filtration i'm also going to be adding my rena xp3 kuz i just bought it for my 75 gallon tank that i have running now.

You want to match your pump to your flow rate. To determine your flow rate, you need to know the size of your drains. You can get a pump that's more powerful than your drains and turn it down with a ball valve on the return. But it wouldn't be wise to get a pump that doesn't pump as fast as your drains drain.
