Reverse fading?

I picked up 3 juvie Midas' the other weekend, one was almost completely orange, one is still barred, and on was orange and white, late the orange and white one has started to go piebald, is this common? I've never seen or heard of it happening. I know they can go piebald during the fading stage but to completely fade then go back?
 
Very common...They change colors all the time. Post some pics..
 
not heard of it myself before, i know they do change a fair amount as a juvie, the future will tel..
 
yeah because I've kept lots of labs/cits before and none have ever done this, I thought it was very odd, I'll post some pics tommorow since the tank is in my office.
 
Yes, they will do that from time to time, especially if they are exposed to sunlight. I had a wild female lab, for instance, that used to turn black during breeding. Here's the normal coloration:
