Reverse Stunted Growth?

I know someone that has 3 Red Belly Piranha that have stunted growth. This person neglected to take care of them and I offered to adopt them. I have an empty 125 gal and a 120 gal sitting in my garage and felt compelled to make them an offer and try to give them a good home as I felt terrible for these poor fish.

Question is: is it possible to reverse stunted growth of 2 year old red bellies?

They will still grow in your 125g, but chances are high that they be slightly smaller than if they were in ideal conditions from the beginning.

I would not think so of any fish, they will grow some more, but nothing like they should have, then you have the whole health issues from it.

I picked up a 6.5" endli that was 2+ years old and it's already close to 10" after just a couple months. I think they will grow for you.

I believe the stunned growth is physicological factor and unless that's get cured growth will be minimal

Okay well I'm waiting on him to respond to my offer and hopefully I'll be able to rejuvenate them.
I'll hope for the best I guess.
