Yes it is a cichlid.

yes severums are cichlids, red faces (im assuming you mean rotkiel) are somewhat rare but not that hard to find if you know where to look, im pretty sure they dont just come from singapore but i could be wrong

i seen similar fish sold as red severums or super red severums, they are a mutation found only in captivity,
