rhino pleco

hey people, never posted in the pleco section...just had a question and you guys have some AWESOME plecos BTW..i have a maybe 4 inch rhino hes great i think, as far as looks go...but my question is he usually is very healthy never no signs of bein sick.but recently i noticed him just kinda floatin on the bottom, not dead just kinda hovering.he props himself under things so he wont float away it seems...is this normal for plecos or is he sick?i never noticed him doin it before...thanks
 
Is he hanging upside down on something or... sorry I don't quite get the description lol.
 
lol no not dead or upside down just kinda hovering.not touching bottom just propped under something..how big do these guys get?

from the description the pl*co isnt stuck to anything. idk, i havent noticed anything like that in my rhino, and mine is 5 or so years old. cant wait to see the picture should answer some things
 
i have had a couple of plecos, never a rhino however, i think what you are talking about is where he will adjust his fins and remain an inch or so off the ground

i have noticed this before but my question for you is does he only do it when he is being supported by something to keep him down or does he float/hover when nothing else is around as well (i.e. no driftwood to keep him down)
