like i said, he doesn't eat any of the pleco tabs i've bought for him [several kinds, now they feed my shrimp] or the cucumber, zucchini, yellow squash i've given him. i tried a small piece of cantaloupe once, and he ate a little bit of that. anyway, what he /does/ eat is bloodworms. i'd had him in a community tank where i tried feeding him the veggies and pleco tabs, and only after i moved him to my aggressive tank did he actually start eating anything. he seems to love the bloodworms; i always put an extra "gumdrop" in the tank so i can sink to the bottom for him, and he'll swim right over to it and gobble it up. i just think it's a little strange, since plecos tend to primarily be vegetarians, but he refuses to eat the vegetables and scarfs down meat. also, he's been hanging out in a broken ceramic flower pot a lot lately. just wanna make sure that that's not something i should be worrying about. he still swims around the bottom and eats fine and everything, just double checking. thanks :]

Not all plecos are vegetarians. Though according to PC, your's is omnivorous:

Maybe once it gets settled in the tank, or is hungry, it'll go for some veggies. Try blanching zuchinni, and sticking some food sticks/pellets in it and maybe it'll learn to eat it.

thanks for the suggestion. he's already settled in. i've had him in that tank for several months, and he settled right in as soon as i put him in; wasn't shy or anything. he's comfortable and active in there, eats during the day when i feed the rest. he moves around and isn't usually in the flower pot, i just mentioned that because he's been going in there lately, where he didn't bother to before. as i said, i've blanched some zucchini, squash, cucumber, cantaloupe, etc. for him and he never wanted anything to do with it. just goes for the bloodworms. and yes, i read that page already. i did all my research on him before i got him [and ongoing], i never get a fish without knowing and having exactly what they need. and i know not all are vegetarians [again, i'm always reading up on my fish and new fish and stuff], which is why i said primarily.

not to threadjack but can some panaques be more meat-oriented than normal and still be perfectly fine? mines seems to be like this.
