I think they're just regular indo dats with a little protrusion on their heads... Saw them a month ago on instagram, a vendor in indonesia was selling them.

This is an Indo with a deformity.. just not too many around tho.

Is that none from an old injury? I knew I guy that ripped the nail and flesh from the last knuckle of his finger. Left it that was rest of his life.

Not sure because this Dat is a recent WC fish.. no idea about it's past but the 'horn' appears to be some kind of birth defect.

Not that I disagree with you but what makes you say that the snout was clipped,have you seen this sort of thing on a dat before?
