nice, you should set up a video camera in front of the tank and just record the whole thing.
set the camera, drop the food in, start recording then just walk a way.

ya but my phone only does like 2 min video... and even then id hafta figure out uploading. i need to borrow a camera it is kinda intense.

If you can find a video camera, definitely get that on video. A live sunfish feeding would be more entertaining (more cruel also, but fish need to eat too)

ya i dont feed like for the shock factor, but i believe in keeping monster fish monster, and one way to keep that killer instinct is by feeding live. the best example was my stingray. seeing that hunt feeders was amazing and watching this piranha stalk its prey is pretty cool. cichlids and sunfish are good because they usually instigated the fight and cant be any less healthy than goldfish and minnows.

FYI that black spot is on the back of the gillplate which id have a tough time cutting through with a knife

Always rad to see ambush predator in action, I still love a shoal(pygo) taking on anything tho

i had rbp a while back but they didnt do anything for me. i definately prefer more solo wet pets but its all preferance.
