Everyone preaches about water changes, water changes water changes, if you the proper filtration you don't need to do 80% water changes per week, these fish are generally clean eaters once you get a feel for them, they won't leave food laying around the tank. These fish are extremely skittish and taking out that much water and "****ing with there tank" that often you'll stress him out, I have my rhom in 120 gallon with 2 fluval 405 canister filters and an aqua clear 70 power head, I do 50 %water changes a month and my parameters are perfect.
ah think theres a wire cross there the waterchanges were with my cichlids and they were extremly messy fish ive only had the rhom just over 24 hrs, ill bear this in mind though as im new to keeping these
what size is your rhom,did you grow him to this size or buy him grown, how long have you had him ?
how often do you feed him, what do you feed him ?
not for long 5 mins or so had a very nervous swim about and gone under a branch he let me approach the tank though just sat there eyeballing me hope to see him a bit more tom
