are u serious:eek:

2 inches a year is very slow.the slowest rate i ever heard of.How much would you say a 12 inches would cost.

2'' per year is growing fast too for a rhombeus. 125 would work fine for a 12'' Rhom. 180 would be better for 15-16'' piranha, especially if its active. The pic I'm attaching is of a Peru "High-back" rhombeus about 11-12 inches (maybe less) at a store of a well known piranha supplier who's prices are very reasonable.
Peruvians tend to be most in abundance. You start getting into Vinnies, Diamonds, Guyana's or Xingu's the price will increase.

I would say at large sizes they will only put on 1" or so a year... a rhom in the 8-12" range should have a 75-125 gallon.... 12-14" fish should def have a 125g and from there the larger fish should be looking in the 180g range--- they are expensive ranging in the 2-750$ range---
