Rhoms finally eaten in front of me

I've had a Rhom at 6" For about 2 months which i have been feeding prawns and mussle and in this time i haven't seen it eat but the food disapears thats how i know that he has eaten well during last nights feeding i saw him cacth the pieces of mussle and eat them. Horray! Some progress.

Hi there. They do take there time to eat in front of people and once they hit 8-9" they don't get so skittish either, very bold.
Is it still in the 2ft tank?

He is but don't flame, he doesn't really need a bigger tank at this stage but wheb he needs it he can have a 40x20x18.

Not my place to flame. My 6" rhom is in a 36"x12"x15" and filteres with a Fluval 4+ and Fluval 404. I agree that small rhoms don't need a big tank. The only small piranha I would put in a large tank is a Manny. Even biggish rhoms seem happy in smaller tanks.
