Ridiculous!

I had to take in this poor guy. He was crammed in a 10G at a LFS with about 20 "assorted african cichlids" and was labeled a "deep water hap" $7.99.... He was super stressed out (obviously) and starving but is now swimming around exploring, amazingly not shy at all! I'm in the process of buying another tank just for him. What do you all think?

Wow man thats a good looking fh and you def got a steal on him for 7.99 those go for around twenty to thirty were i am at! Nice find!

Thanks! He's just at 3.5" w/o tail. Seems really happy.
He was swimming around the glass near me almost playfully until I fed him. Seemed like he was begging for food!

Thanks! Means a lot. I love it already, still trying to figure out male/female... I've heard a few different things/techniques. I'm leaning toward female. I want to avoid venting at the moment because I don't want to stress it out.
