They are aggressive per'say,but not like a cichlid ect.

that is their food...yes. I keep a school of large fathead minnows swimming with them always, so they feed at will....they are super fast to grab a fish when they decide they want it, then stop and adjust the fish to swallow it. They do not gorge themselves like many fish though...they will take food only when they are hungry and eat only what fills them.
