Today started off very interesting as it was snowing when I woke up. One might think, snowing, no big deal. Well, for most that would be correct, but I live in New Orleans where it flurries about once every ten years. It has only snowed like this maybe once or twice before here in my lifetime.
I went in to work as usual and carefully avoided the crazies on the road who freak out when there's rain and more so when there's snow. After being there a whole fifteen minutes, the powers that be decided that they would give us a "snow" day since none of our vehicles are equipped to handle icy road conditions.
On my way home, I happened to see two workers bringing an aquarium out to the curb and subsequently the stand that went with it. I turned around and went back to find what I had though to be a 30 gallon, up close, was in actuality a 75 gallon. I asked one of the workers if they were throwing it out and after he confirmed it I asked for his help to load it into my truck.
Right place, right time! A free 75 gallon tank with stand and other miscellaneous gear!.
