I've been really enjoying my tank lately and figured if I utilized my extra Ring cam, I can enjoy my tank even when I'm not home ?

This is perfect during times when you're out and about and bored, ie waiting for your kids before you pick them up from school.

As and added bonus, if anyone decides to steal my tank, I know who did it ?

Does anyone else do this?

Wonderful idea!
I don’t but I’ve always considered it!
I did use a security cam to help me try to find my crested gecko when she got out though (cam didn’t ever catch anything but I did find her eventually).

Good idea.
I use the blink camera system to check on mine sometimes.
They also have a built in thermometer and you can set them to send a message if the temperature gets out of a certain range.
Which works well for me because my tanks are in a separate building.

I have a wayze cam that can see both of my tanks. Cheap and works great, I highly recommend it. I have an automated water changer. So i can change the water from anywhere in the world and watch just incase something happens and turn it off.

if only they made something like a pool vac to clean the bottom!
