denver,nc..
these will not take pellets..they only eat shrimp or shrimp stuffed with massivore but wont take just massivore.not a lot of difference from the ipitanga..

Thanks for updating these guys, I think these guys look good too.....unsurprisingly these guys look a lot like the Ipatinga but your Ipatinga are more beefy. How old and how big are these guys?

Those freakin' fish look awesome dude! Seriously, I like em' a lot. I think my young ipatinga look like them a lot & they are going to look more like those than yours & isde02's Ipatinga. It'll be fun to watch & see!

these doce's are on a bit of a hunger strike..i have been feeding mostly tilapia in this tank and they wont eat it..thus, the reason they are looking thin..they are older than the ipitanga's for sure but the ipitangas are as large if not larger..obviously due to their taking massivore at a young age.

they are a lot like the ipitanga if not identical..their mouth/head shape is alittle nicer than the ipitanga's otherwise difficult to tell apart. I am glad I have both tyoes and enjoy watching them grow!

You have a great collection on your hands Cj congrats. I can't wait to start seeing some breeding from your kelberi groups.

Nice update Craig. How big are they now?

guessing around 12" hard to tell in a acrylic tank..they are always bigger when you actually pull them out.

none of my kelberi are for sale..sorry for those pm'ing me. I intend to breed and I cant do that if they aren't here!

Awesome update CJ!
Your cichla never cease to amaze....especially your massive collection of gorgeous kelberi.
