Well here is the male i got from Ira which is from Flowerpowers wild pair:) I named the Juggernaut because of the hump he developed before they paired out, it was insane. but since i got them paired they spawned and it decreased:( but anyway after my move a couple weeks ago i upgraded them into a 75 and after 2 days of settling i pulled the divider and these two went at it like they were hyper active lol. They were doing great together so i left the divider out and a couple days later they spawned!! half the eggs were fertle but the the female ate the fry as they hatched. this video is of them a few days ago and they are getting ready to spawn agian here soon so hopefully they wont eat them this time:) I would say they are both around 5" or so

Very nice. Makes me miss my old pair. Just taking a break with dovii for now unless i can get a really nice pair. Awesome colors on the male. Still my favorite cichlid to own.
 
thank you for the comments:) I love Doviis and this pair has amazed me;) but since ive gotten the Rio Blanco RTMs its a really hard decision to which parachromis i like better.

They are both costa rican rio heridia, the yellow. i bought them from Ira which were bred by Flowerpowers wild rio heridia pair. and yes they are related but with this pair and species im not too particular with that being said Dovii fry aren't very profitable so its wasnt a big deal for me. I just wanted a nice pair with a particular attitude and i have it with these two:)
 
Man they are nice dovii, the blues on the male are crazy. Wishing there were dovii like that down here. Keep the updates coming:)

I wish man, I live in tasmania, australia ya need a license just to give fish away yet alone import fry :( I dont think we can even bring fish from international in with a breeders license. stupid laws lol either way good luck with the spawning :D

Dang bro that male is a stunner!!! Don't get me wrong the female is nice too but that male is in a league of his own, such intense blue on him. When u get some fry PLEASE hit me up I will def jump on some.
