The male a buddy of mine had for 8-9 months and them I picked him up a little over a year ago give or take. He was 3" when he was shipped to Idaho. He is now roughly 12.5-13".
The female I just got and she is 4.5-5". The tank is a 110.

As soon as I step in the room he is trying to kill me. He doesn't want anything within 10 feet of those eggs!

Psycho ... lovely looking fish. Even my Dovii that have eggs don't attack the glass like that. They both look stunning

Thank you. I have seen very few fish that are as protective and territorial as he is now. And I'm sure it will only get worse when they hatch.
