The apure is growing faster then the jari. The jari was an inch bigger when i got them at 2 and 3 inches. Now the apure is about 9" and jari 7.5"

See above lol? Going to try and put them with my big guys in the 230 when i get back from vacation in a month. Got to sell a 10" broko and a 13" azul to make room for em.

Where are you getting those hard to find fish in NJ?

I got these guys from mark at discus origions. I had 2 apure when i started growing them out. But one found a spot to jump out of the tank when they were small,

Hoping the jari turna out to be a jariina but who knows. Nobody has kept them at this size as far as i know.
