I can't update the fish in my other growout thread, since they are all in the pond now for the next couple of months. I did take some pictures tonight of my other stock that will be going into the big tank when it's completed though.

Cichla orinocensis "Rio Meta" - I received two adults from Jeff but one died soon after arrival. This is probably my favorite Cichla both in terms of appearance and personality.

Cichla melaniae - Not much to say here. I had to have a couple of these in the collection.

Cichla temensis "Ventuari" - They started off smaller than the "Miriti-Parana", but have almost caught them now. Differentiated by the solid lower white line.

Cichla temensis "Miriti-Parana" - I was leary about getting these, since Jeff had had them for a long time. We'll see how they grow out. Notice the broken lower white line compared to the "Ventuari".

Cichla temensis spp. - Don't ask for details on these fish because I'm not providing them. They sure look different from the other two varieties. ;)
