Rio meta runt down

Came home from work to find my rio meta orino runt down.
I am thinking that my hybrid ocell that has been showing dominance with a recent nuctual hump got him but I am not sure.
I will be keeping a close eye on him.

I got him September of last year from snookn, he was from my first batch of cichla and one of my favorites.
He was a runt but he would hang with the big boys showing dominance. I guess that's what got him in trouble but not sure.
