just got in some new cichla from jeff rapps..got 3 Rio Miriti-Parana tems..thought it would be cool to start a temensis growout thread..i'll post pics asoon as they settle..right now i got them in a divided 45g..they started eating frz bloodworms right away..i am supplying them with guppies also..once they are bigger i'm going to switch them to frozn shrimp stuffed with pellets..use my tricks to pellet train :D but thats down the line..i'll update this thread with update growth pics once a month (around the 30th of each month)..currently they are 1 1/2''..they are very active..stay tuned :popcorn:
 
I must say. I have had a hell of a easier time pellet training from frozen BW, compared to live. Also pellet trained within a week from BW.

But each has his own swag and ur a pro, so do yo thang bruh

Question. At what size u gonna sell them for a profit?

thanks..i should re-do what i wrote..this is what i did in the past with my cichla i have now..i feed feeders until about the 3'' mark then i switch to frzn..before that i feed them feeders then off a few days feeding nothing but bloodworms then back to feeders..with all my cichla doing it with my thoery of stuffing shrimp has worked without any problems..

i will in a few weeks..they have grown alot..they were the same size as the tems just a few weeks back and now they about doubled/tripled in size..

haha mike won't sell them for profit,.i call hell sell the ones he don't want at 5-7" for $65
