My silver just died the other week out of no where, i believe it was from ascites or something that work real fast. One day she was fine, the next she started to show signs of illness, and was upside down near death half way thru that day. Saddest fish loss ever for me. Raised her since she was 6", and i was only 16. No drop eye, perfect whiskers, not aggressive, ate anything. Perfect aro. Sad part is i never got a chance to put her in the 300 i just got for her.

7 years old, 30" long, 3" wide.

Silver owners do you best to take care of your fish! I know some of you younger guys don't have much $ to work with, but your better off doing your best then suffering a loss. And if you can't take care of your aro or if you aro is getting its butt kicked by other fish in your tank, please sale or give them away.

Im selling my 220 now if anyone is interested. All built by me and has a fridge.

Arowanas kick (_I_)!

So sorry! At least you enjoyed her for such a long period.

Very sorry to hear! She was a beauty!

Sorry about your loss.

Are you going to have it mounted? I think it'll be pretty cool.

That is sad to see such a beautiful fish dead. :(
