yep, it died today. while it was molting, two other crawfishes attacked and killed the blue. well, i guess it lived a long happy life...

Sorry to hear 
( lived much longer than mine apparently! lost my blue crawfish to the same thing- he was the only crawfish in the tank, but i think my bichir smelled something tasty while he was molting&decided to take a bite. love the way the blue looks so much, but don't feel like feeding my bichir an expensive shellfish dinner every time the crawfish molts XD
