Ok... Well my eel has an incredible bacteria infection of some kind. It's taken over almost his entire body. I noticed some stuff yesterday and the day before, but thought it was just sand/debris sticking to him.... Not quite apparently.

Today I found him head-down straight up in the corner of my tank. I thought he was dead, but his gills are still moving. I feel so bad, I have no idea what happened. I noticed some damage on one of his lower sides, but I have noticed no aggression issues with the fish in the tank at all.

No other fish seems to be effected at all, and are acting like they always do. He's laying upside down on the bottom now, and there's nothing I can do now. I added some fungus clear meds, and now it's just a hoping game.

I know in my heart he will be gone by the end of the night... it's bad.

I am preparing an ice-bath for him now. There is no reason he has to suffer like that, and whatever he has is horrible enough that I honestly don't think he can be healed.

:(

I'm hoping now that I haven't transfered anything to my other tanks through the WC buckets I use... That could just be devistating.

I am paranoid now, and I think I noticed some white on two of my sens.... Maybe I'm being too paranoid.

My BGK had the same thing, which I assumed was from scraping himself on some of the rocks, and it healed up on it's own with no meds....

Sorry to hear the news, my condolences.
