RIP... Lost my Red Wolf

The storms Friday knocked our power out. We haven't had power or running water (well water) since Friday night. Well yesterday morning I woke up to my Red Wolf laying upside down

He was 5 years old and measured 9.25". He was beastly and I'll miss him dearly.

Power is still off at home and they say it will be Saturday at the earliest before it's back on. We did manage to find a generator so we can run our fridge, etc. I have one filter running on each tank now. On top of the wolf fish we lost everything in our fridge and two freezers.. hundreds and hundreds of dollars of food gone. We have to drive a mile to get water from the local lake to flush our toilets. Life is interesting right now

I feel your pain bro. Sorry for your lost. I actually lost a vieja Regani, 2 argentea, and a couple of hartwegi in this storm. Power was out for 2 days and my generator had a mind of its own. I was able to save the rest with water changes and plant filteration. I also learned after everything was okay that peroxide can add oxygen to water. Never tried this, but my local pet store told me about it.

Damn man. I.always looked for posts on this guy. So sorry for your loss. Im in same boat with power situation.

They are saying it will be this Sunday before our power is back on. This is getting frustrating...

I'll see if I can throw a video together showing the life of the little guy once we get the power back on.
