The poor guy managed to get his head stuck in a teeny bit of nylon mesh (little bag full of crushed coral sitting in a corner) and apparently suffocated. I found him stiff but he looked otherwise lively so I did swish him around for a minute to see if he'd come back. No go.
Tested the water, no ammonia, no nitrite, nitrAtes around 15ppm. I think he really just got stuck and his gills couldn't operate in there.
She's alone now. She's pouting big time but still eating. Should I find her a new man?
