Man, I got home earlier with a treat for "Manti" (my 7+" peacock mantis shrimp which is huge for a mantis)... He didn't come out to greet me. I looked in his cave and didn't see him. I looked everywhere and nowhere to be found. Then I knew. I opened the back by the filter. Sure enough, somehow he managed to get back there. The filter setup on his tank is the same as a biocube. He was on top of the tray that covers the bioballs. HOW Fing HORRIBLE!!!!!! If I was about 1/2 hour ealier he proabaly would have been ok.
I must say though after handling him (the corpse that is)..... He is a monster. Armor plated beast. I thought his "shell" would be like a lobster or something liek that. Man it seemed like a light metal. That is truely a freak of nature. I will miss him. :(

I may have a few pics. They are a little from a distance and of poor quality. If you really want to see them I can probably post them up...
What I should've done was snap a bunch of pics of his corpse. I was going to preserve him but, :(... I put him in alchohol while waiting for my phermaldihide (lol spelling ), but it did'nt arrive in time and I probably waited too long to get him into the alchohol.. so he pretty much was wasted.
SOrry for any spelling or grammar. Hehe I just woke up...

I checked and I have a few pics nothing that shows too much dtail. I am getting ready to post some pics (somewhat soon) of my 8fter. I will be happy to throw in a few of "Manti"... I am still having trouble finding a replacement..... Although nothing could ever replace Manti LOL
