After nearly 20 years Oscarfish* has seemingly come to an end.
I'd like to make part of this post as a thank you/ shout-out to all of those knowledgeable members who helped me out through the short time I was a part of this site.

With that said I have since migrated here, and I got some questions.
1. How does one set the avatar?
2. Uploading pics, what's the best way?

Well, not as much as I thought. But in all fairness it did take about 10mins to figure out how to create a new topic.

**This won't let me put down the forum name. It's apparently a URL code. The site it literally called Oscarfish**

Thank you in advance,
Oscarmon

Oops, forgot to introduce myself.

I currently have 1 Lutino oscar named Felix (he has attitude issues).
I've joined the forum for further knowledge on such large fish as well as help on a 90 gallon setup.

Sorry this is a double post.

Welcome aboard

My way of uploading pics.
Take pic with phone or camera
Go back to Forum click upload tap photo browser choice pic wait for it to download
and post.

Welcome to the Fishy family!

Most things unlock after I believe your 5th post (spammer prevention device). So go browse the forums, post some comments and soon it will be available.

Fellow Oscar lover on a Carpintis and Sagittae journey atm tho.

Welcome to the busiest and most user friendly forum on the net imo.
Some great characters on here and above all proper knowledgeable people.
Facebook is killing the forums off with people that think they know stuff all putting in there bit...
I've got a 14"wild oscar, look forward to seeing yours:)

I had two oscars named Ralph(Wreck it Ralph) and Potato both named by my family haha. Welcome to the Forum, I think you will take a liking to the people here. One of the fish that get the most "traffic" on MFK is oscars so you will usually have some threads you can help out on. Welcome to the MFK Family!!!

Thanks again guys. I got my avatar of Felix, too. He's almost 9in now and will be moved to the 90 gallon as an upgrade eventually. I'll try upload a picture of will-be tank now.Tnk.jpg

Yep, here it is. It looked much worse earlier, as it was used for salt.
This is after all the scrubbing and use of vinegar.

I'm going to sell the light and continue the build on another thread.
