Well I had a thread here stating that one of my peacock bass was being an outcast ( hence the name of the fish ) from my other peacocks. He was only 2 inches the day I got him he was chilling by himself and hardly eating.
I woke up this morning @ 11 am and decided to check on the guy to see how hes doing and if he was still being an outcast, still chilling up top. I noticed that I had ran out of blood worms to feed the poor fellow. So I decided to go to the LFS for some more. I came back at 11:30 and realized he wasn't up there no more. I look vigorously around the tank peeping inside from the outside, and even using my hands to move some structures to see if he was hiding. I have black sand and he was kind of on the dark side so I thought he would be chilling in the sand, turns out he was missing. So I came to a conclusion, that my locally lake caught Baby Largemouth Bass (4 inches - got it when it was 1.5 inch) ate him.
It was my fault for putting this poor fellow in the tank with the LMB, While I kept the other 5 in a different tank.
