Got a lab mut when i was five.... Been throigh countless surgurys. At one point had a baseball for a sist on his leg.
Never hurt a sole... Never bothered my cats... Best personality. He would have been 16 in march. For a 175lb dog in his prime that is past the normal age. Early thismornong my mom had to take him to the e room for throwing up and not beimg able to stand. After x rays and whatever else they did they found that his stomach had turnned upsidedown or wjatever and for a dog his age and for the ampunt of time that had already passed there was no point in sirgury. Stomach turn is common among large old dogs tht have bigg chests ans small hipsand once it happens there isnt much you can do because the intestines begin to die... 15 years of greatness. Gone in 5 min.
Figured since this is a forum about loving your animals (yes mostly fish but im sire all pets apply) i would share one of the worst feeling days since i got him when i was 5.
