my biggest sengel bichir :(:( grew him from 2 inches to almost 5 inches b4 he died today for sum reason..

duno if this is the cause but heres what i did,
i did a 15 percent water change last nite and did a lil experament ( didnt add clore out ) cause i live out in the boonies ( woods and have well water ) and my other sengel bichir is alive and the rest of my fish BUT my sengel bichir..

RIP lil guy
 
Why would you not put it in there before testing it on a small amount of water and say a feeder goldfish.

well i dont really think its the water cause lets say RAMs are very VERY poor on water condition and he would have been the first to die if the water was bad so i think he was just being picked on alot or sumitn
 
ok you really need to decide on a plan for your tank and DO NOT buy fish that you are not qualified to keep. Sorry for being harsh but all you do is go out and be irresponsible when you get new fish. You need to research before you buy! Just stick to smaller fish since you have a 29. IF you want something cool and want a challenge, just stock it with rams and some tetras. Don't keep buying fish that will either kill each other or not do well with each other. AND FOR GODS SAKE DO NOT skip the declor. Even well water can have toxic metals that the water conditioners neutralize! Please consult with some one who knows what to do before you get anything else!
